• About me

    Erich Squire- is a self-employed business consultant who has been doing so since 2017. In this job, Squire applies his broad financial expertise and experience to deliver "different strategic and analytic services, ranging from quantitative to qualitative" to businesses of all sizes. He draws on his extensive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, business plan creation/review, data analysis, financial modeling, change management, and actuarial analysis to help customers expand their businesses and overcome financial and HR difficulties.

     

    Squire has spent his entire career in finance, including nine years at Century Aluminum in the greater Chicago region, where he rose through the ranks from Human Resources expert to Senior Vice President of Finance. Squire supervised the Century's reporting, investor relations, FP&A, corporate growth, risk management, shared services, and credit as the company's most senior financial officer.

     

    Squire previously worked as an actuarial manager at PwC in the greater Chicago region before joining the Century Aluminum team. Squire's responsibilities at PwC included working in the firm's HR consulting division, where he focused on blending HR strategy with financial rigor to give customers with specialized, value-added services relating to comprehensive rewards programs. His efforts there were recognized with advancements in jobs ranging from individual contributor of analytics to project management, client relationship management, and staff development.

     

    Squire graduated from Portage (Indiana) High School in 1993. He graduated with honors from Indiana University-Northwest in Gary, Indiana, and the University of Louisville, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and an MBA. Squire was involved in the early stages of development for the venture Cuddle Clones, which manufactures bespoke stuffed toys and other items in the likeness of a customer's pet dog or cat. Squire is currently the company's Director of Operations, and he has helped take it from its beginnings to yearly revenues of more than $300,000. The firm has also been recognized to the Fast 500 list of "Louisville Business" magazine multiple times.
